Position Summary
The Draftsman is responsible for executing the Architects’ designs, ideas and requirements into 2-D or 3-D drawings, as required and/or specified, using AutoDesk (Revit, AutoCAD & BIM 360), Nemetschek (Graphisoft, Bluebeam Software) and other Building Information Modeling Software like Rhino, Solibri among others. Some of these tasks will include the execution of design and construction modeling, presentations, and 3D renderings, searching and analyzing materials, construction and installation methodologies to comply with project’s requirements.
As a Draftsman, this person will assist in the documentation of project planning during the design phase and in the as-build documentation process in the construction phase of the project. His or Her work will be present throughout the project’s life cycle from predesign to construction to facilities management. As Draftsman, he or she will work with various departments to understand, advise, and assist in all 2-D or 3-D drafting requirements in all stages of the building process.
Primary Duties
•Time
oPerform all required drafting and or investigation activities as specified in the progress schedule to comply with the established delivery milestones.
•Quality Control
oAssist the Architects in the development of drawings, from conceptual design to final construction documents, of residential, commercial, and institutional projects, among others
oTake measurements of existing structures and produce as-built drawings for the projects.
oWill work on 3-D models and presentations to be presented to Clients and/or government agencies for permit and endorsement approvals.
oThe Draftsman will follow the department’s drawing protocols, keep and be knowledgeable with the construction details library, assist the Junior and/or Project Architects in coordinating the construction drawing sets, and maintain the electronic documents organized following the established filing system.

Key Skills
•Proficient in ArchiCAD and AutoCAD software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
•Experience with drafting building plans and 3D modeling, often in collaboration with engineers and clients.
•Experience in drawing architectural details.
•Knowledge of interdisciplinary information and coordination.
•Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.
•Professional attitude and ability to communicate and work well with others.
•Fully bilingual.
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both English and Spanish.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Education
•Education: Professional Draftsman Degree.
•License: Professional License preferred.
Experience
•Minimum of two (2) years of related experience
•Knowledgeable of AutoDesk (Revit, AutoCAD & BIM 360), Nemetschek ( Graphisoft, Bluebeam Software) and other Building Information Modeling Software like Rhino, Solibri among others.

•Varies with experience, seniority & performance
